When the General Practitioner or Dermatologist find out that one is suffering from telogen effluvium, the most effective means to manage this is by using hair replacement prosthesis or scalp make up. Telogen effluvium is often the consequence of severe changes in the levels of hormones in the body. Unfortunately, this condition occurs more severely in women of advanced age. Another possibility is that sometimes CTE (chronic telogen effluvium) will stunt the follicles and they will require a few trial runs and stops and starts to get things working property again.
